The HSCA did not have access to all the records of the various groups alleged to be involved in the assassination of President Kennedy, but they were able to conclude, “on the basis of the evidence available to it,” that Soviet Government, Cuban, Government, anti-Castro Cuban groups, and organized crime (a.k.a. the Mafia), were, “not involved in the assassination of President Kennedy.” More importantly, since most conspiracy theorists today seem to assume some level of involvement from the US Government, the HSCA concluded, without any reservations, that, “The Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Central Intelligence Agency were not involved in the assassination of President Kennedy.”
